The S.M. Pharmaceutical plant was built in 1962 located on Sukhumvit Rd., Samudprakan province (suburban of Bangkok). The plant's total surface is around 10,000 square meters while the indoor surface is 2,400 square meters. There are 40 employees manufacturing 6 categories of pharmaceutical products. The plant is also certified that it conforms to all the requirement of the Thai Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMP) (Code of Good Manufacturing Practices of the Ministry of Public Health) laid down in accordance with the recommendation of the World Health Organization in the categories of Powder and granules, Tablets, Capsules, Liquid Preparation, Ointments or Creams and Sterile Preparations. The maximum capacities of the plants for all production categories are 13 million units of packaged per years.
